Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

DAY 27

Protect yourself and your loved ones

The Ayah

"O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones."
[At-Tahrim, 66:6]

This Ayah In Your Life

Its fuel is people. Let that sink in. Allah is commanding you — protect yourself and your family from it. How do you protect yourself from something? You learn what leads to it and you stay away. What does Allah want from you? What has He made obligatory? What has He forbidden? Learn it. Live it. Then turn to your family and teach them. You will be asked about yourself. And you will be asked about them. That Fire doesn't care about excuses. It doesn't care that you didn't know. Learn now. Before the chance is gone.

What The Salaf Said

Ibn al-Qayyim said: "The people of the Fire will not suffer anything more painful than knowing they brought it upon themselves."

Tariq al-Hijratayn

Action

If no one taught you properly, that's not your fault. But now you have the chance. Learn what la ilaha illallah really means. Learn what believing in the Prophet ﷺ requires from you. Learn what makes your salah valid. These aren't advanced topics — they're the foundation. And the foundation protects you from the Fire.

Reflect

What don't you know that could be harming you right now?

AL-BASEER

The All-Seeing

إِنَّهُ بِعِبَادِهِ خَبِيرٌ بَصِيرٌ

"Indeed, He is of His servants All-Aware and All-Seeing."
[Fatir, 35:31]

The Meaning

  • He sees the black ant crawling on a black rock in the darkness of the night. Nothing escapes His sight.

  • He sees the treachery of the eyes — that quick glance you thought no one caught. He caught it.

  • He sees every movement. Every blink. Every creature in the universe, all at once, in full detail.

Al-Baseer In Your Life

  • You looked at something haram for half a second. No one was around. Al-Baseer was watching.

  • You did something good in total privacy — no cameras, no audience, no credit. Al-Baseer saw every second of it.

  • People see your actions. Al-Baseer sees your actions, your heart, your thoughts.

How You Live Differently

  • Before you click, scroll, or glance — remember Al-Baseer is watching. Let that stop you before shaytan starts.

  • Lower your gaze. Not because people might see — because Al-Baseer already does.

  • Take comfort: every good deed done in secret, every tear no one saw, every struggle hidden from people — Al-Baseer witnessed it all. Nothing is wasted.

WORTH YOUR TIME

May Allah soften our hearts and make us among those who remember Him,

Abu Ja’far Guled
